Youtube Reinterpretations

So I don't know if you guys remember but a long stupid time ago Zack and I had an idea to recreate cute youtube animal videos but with humans instead and it was such an obvious joke that i knew no one would take seriously and i thought to myself "YES" and I remember telling my friend Bruce in texas about the idea who already loves PF and thought it was perfect and said "HEY NO ONE JUST DOES THINGS THEY SAY THEY'RE GOING TO DO ANYMORE!" and i realize that whenever someone makes a joke about something that should happen, they never really intend it ever to happen they just want to create humorous hypothetical situations that in no way would ever be funny to anyone outside of the people who made it so i want to take it as far as possible to make sure that no one will ever propose a hypothetical humorous situation ever again!!!! actually that's not why i want to do it but that would be funny if it happened :D

Here are a few of the videos I'm thinking of recreating:











I think those ones will be easy to accomplish and most will require only 2 -4 people at most.
I want to recreate the videos shot by shot, edit by edit, sound by sound, etc. with the same framing and compression and pixelation.

If anybody wants to volunteer for a specific video or has other suggestions for videos let me know and post them on here so I can go ahead and start looking for places to shoot, etc.

HI EVERYONE!

So I kind of mentioned this to a couple of you, (because it's really rad) but Evan of the Annex Theater came up to me the other day and was like: "Hey you have a thing called Psychic Friends right?" and I was like "Yeah dude" and he was like "You guys should really do something at the Annex because we want something really visually based for a show in the fall, and you could collaborate with other dudes and it would be wild. And also if you wanted to write something (a little play) we could have someone else direct it" and I said "Rad!" and he said "How's November?" and I said "Not so good" and so we need to stay in touch with them for the future because I think it would be super cool to do something there and Evan/Caitlin (Kaitlyn?) seem really stoked on the idea  of us doing something. 

Also I told him I'd let him know when we have a meeting next and he could come talk to everyone.

OK cool! Also where on the portal does it say the name of my scholarships for Emily? Thanks dudes!!!!

Hey Guys! Hope everyone is enjoying their respective summers. Things are real busy up north and very enjoyable. I'm pretty sure I'll be in Bal'mur this weekend- I'd really like to get together with everyone who is available to do a drawing or something fun and creative Saturday afternoon/evening. If that doesn't work out I will just leave some "started" pieces down there that could be added to! I'll holler when I get to town.

Something cool I saw on that TED website

This guy Clay Shirky has two great videos on TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), a website with tons of cool free lectures. Cameron Sinclair mentioned it during his lecture. This lecture discusses the development of tools and venues in which we are able to collaborate and its effect on productivity (I think?). I don't think I'm making much sense so you should just watch it its good!

Here's a little something something Maude, Max, Rachel, and I worked on last week. This other thing is a painting I started that I wanted to get going, anyone up for it?

ONE GIANT RESUME

so, I am going to make a giant (like, 24 x 36ish) single page resume including all of our accomplishments/work experiences. I'll create the layout (but all of you are welcome to provide feedback, I'll post versions once I get information) and then I'll get it lazr printed at kinkos or some shit. ok? ok. we can talk about making a normal sized one later, I just really wanna make this big one first.
